The Meat Cutter is responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various meat products according to company standards and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, proper handling of equipment, and adherence to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered.
Cut, trim, bone, and portion meat products (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) according to specified weights, sizes, and quality standards.
Operate knives, saws, grinders, and other meat-cutting tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect meat products for quality and freshness, removing any that do not meet standards.
Package, label, and store finished meat products properly to maintain freshness and traceability.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and equipment.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
Assist with inventory rotation and stock replenishment as needed.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production and customer order deadlines.
