JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensures all orders are accounted for, compliance due diligence is completed. Customer orders are shipped and released to customers for will call. Is in Constant liaison with NOV freight forwarders and customer freight forwarders for a speedy turn around.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Initiate shipping process upon receiving pick list from warehouse.
2. Read Customer Purchase Order/email trail of customer orders and identify stated incoterms to proceed with shipping process.
3. Notify sales personnel assigned to the order if there is any variance with the stated incoterms of the order.
4. Prepare commercial Invoice and packing list for Equipment shipping out both domestic/international.
5. Liaise with Customer/Intercompany/assigned freight forwarder on the shipping movement and shipping documentation requirements.
6. Know the parties involved in shipping transactions including the freight forwarder.
7. Ensure required checks and balances are carried out to comply with stated Export Compliance requirements.
8. Follow outlined Logistics process map to incorporate step by step Logistics approach to shipping process.
9. Work with the company's designated freight forwarders to improve performance and ensure on time shipment.
10. Organize and maintain hard copy and electronic documentation supporting shipping of orders handled by self in OnBase.
11. Ensure safety requirements and measures are followed into all Logistics activities.
12. Load customer orders equipment/spares into trucks.
13. Update Warehouse Manager with any logistic issues.
14. Work closely with the following groups - Customer Order processing Groups/Production Group/Warehousing Group/Import and Export Compliance Group.
15. Assume control of Dispatching trucking, Internal or third party for outgoing sales orders and incoming Purchase orders.
16. Assume control of Imports of product, coordinate with Freight forwarders to ensure a timely/ best method and most efficient delivery.
17. Fulfill any other tasks as and when assigned by the Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. 3-5 years preferred international logistics experience
2. Forklift experience
3. Microsoft Office Knowledge
