Asphalt Laborer

We're looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our asphalt paving crew. Previous asphalt or concrete experience is a plus, but it is not required. We're willing to train the right people—those who show up, work hard, and want to build a career in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform asphalt raking, shoveling, and handwork during paving operations.
• Assist equipment operators and crew members throughout the day.
• Prepare and clean job sites before and after paving.
• Move materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and work efficiently with the crew.
• Perform other labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Asphalt or concrete experience is helpful, but not required.
• Construction or outdoor labor experience is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be able to:

• Perform sustained shoveling and raking for several hours.
• Work outdoors in extreme heat, cold, and changing weather conditions.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
