Job Description

Compensation based on experience.

• Operate welding torch and fit parts for welding
• Perform MIG and stick welding processes
• Ensure watertight welds in all areas
• Handle multiple welding construction and repair assignments
• Operate power and hand tools
• Perform tasks in various work environments
• Use torches and other cutting tools safely
• Follow company, state, and federal safety regulations
• Read blueprints and measure accurately
• Perform quality assurance on welds and fabricated items
• Work independently or as part of a team as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform overhead, vertical, and flat welding

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of MIG and stick welding processes
• Ability to operate welding torch and fit parts for welding
• Experience with power and hand tool operations
• Ability to read blueprints and measure accurately
• Welding certification is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in various work environments
