Job Description
Fondomonte is looking for a highly talented Welder/Fabricator Technician to join our dynamic farming team in Vicksburg, Arizona. This position is primarily responsible for various welding and fabrication activities of structural sheet metal products and other fabrication processes on various materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair various equipment and components
- Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions
- Perform welding & fabrication of heavy equipment parts and assemblies to meet established quality standards, production procedures and efficiency expectations
- Work as part of a team coordinating work and assisting in the fabrication or welding of multi-component parts
- Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position
- Inspect equipment to maintain functional equipment if any equipment needs repairs notify supervisor/lead or maintenance department
- Safely operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job needs
- Hardfacing skid loader buckets and tillage equipment
- Mending seeders, spreaders, and other machines that can break down in the field
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
- Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary by department or shift Lead
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabricate from those prints
- Welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other required surfaces and materials; aluminum experience is a plus
- Ability to proficiently use cutting torch, grinders, and ironworker
- Familiarity with basic tools of measuring and when to use for inspection of part
- Knowledge of welding principles and techniques
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Standing for long periods
- Bending, lifting and pushing up to 50 pounds is required
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a welder.
- Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Outstanding attention to detail
Job Context:
- Work hours may vary based on business needs, flexibility to work on the weekend is required.
- This job is located in Salome, Arizona
- Experience in Agriculture industry a plus

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: M- Friday 6:00 - 4:00 & Saturday 6:00-1:00 with hours that may vary depending upon operational need
Possibly onsite housing or fuel allowance depending upon qualifications

- Ability to lift, carry, reach, push, and/or pull; climb and balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
