Warehouse Supervisor (Contract-to-Hire) Location: San Jose, CA (On-site) Shift: Day Shift (Mon–Fri) Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (DOE) Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
The Opportunity Are you a floor-ready leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment? We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our San Jose operations. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the Floor: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and outbound shipping.
- Drive Performance: Monitor and report on key metrics (KPIs) to ensure the team meets production goals.
- Safety First: Maintain a "safety-first" culture, ensuring all OSHA standards and local regulations are strictly followed.
- Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to reach their full potential.
- WMS Management: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory flow and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Overseeing a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Operational Workflow: Coordinating the receiving of goods, storage (put-away), picking, and shipping to meet daily deadlines.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all staff follow OSHA (or local equivalent) regulations and internal safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.
- Equipment Maintenance: Managing the upkeep of warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
The essential functions of this role include:
