Warehouse Supervisor (Contract-to-Hire) Location: San Jose, CA (On-site) Shift: Day Shift (Mon–Fri) Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (DOE) Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

The Opportunity Are you a floor-ready leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment? We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our San Jose operations. This is a Contract-to-Hire position designed for a high-energy professional who wants to "test drive" a company while proving their value.

In this role, you won't just be sitting in an office; you’ll be the heartbeat of the warehouse floor, driving efficiency during the day shift and ensuring our team hits their marks safely and accurately. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the Floor: Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and outbound shipping.

  • Drive Performance: Monitor and report on key metrics (KPIs) to ensure the team meets production goals.

  • Safety First: Maintain a "safety-first" culture, ensuring all OSHA standards and local regulations are strictly followed.

  • Team Development: Train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to reach their full potential.

  • WMS Management: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems to track inventory flow and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Overseeing a team of warehouse associates, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Inventory Control: Maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

  • Operational Workflow: Coordinating the receiving of goods, storage (put-away), picking, and shipping to meet daily deadlines.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensuring all staff follow OSHA (or local equivalent) regulations and internal safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents.

  • Equipment Maintenance: Managing the upkeep of warehouse machinery, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
