Overview

Bericap SC, LLC is growing and adding full-time, hourly team members to our warehouse. As a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator focused on Shipping & Receiving, you will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and keep raw materials, WIP, and finished goods moving safely and efficiently through our facility while maintaining an orderly dock and storage environment.

A day in this role

You start by confirming your area is safe and clean, donning required PPE, and aligning with Good Manufacturing Practices (no jewelry, no cell phones, and no nicotine in any form). You walk the dock, clear clutter, and check that trailers are locked in place with tire chocks and a nose jack before entry. Throughout the shift, you balance receiving inbound materials, labeling and storing them correctly, and staging/loading outbound orders per BOL with FIFO discipline. Between truck moves, you support production by ensuring lines and the print cell have what they need, and by putting away WIP and finished goods so nothing idles in drop areas for more than 24 hours. You stay mobile—standing and walking most of the shift—and comfortably lift up to 35 pounds as work demands. All the while, you’re scanning with RF devices to keep electronic inventory accurate, tackling housekeeping, and capturing improvements in the See It, Sort It, Report It system.

Core responsibilities

General

• Work safely at all times; initiate corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Follow GMPs and food safety protocols; promptly escalate any food safety issues.
• Maintain housekeeping throughout the shift; dispose of scrap in proper containers.
• Wear required PPE and adapt quickly to new tasks or areas as customer needs change.
• Complete duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.

Shipping

• Load outbound trucks in accordance with the assigned BOL; follow FIFO for loading and staging.
• Inspect outbound shipments for correct identification and damage; ensure proper packaging and accurate paperwork.
• Stage upcoming loads; verify trailers meet dry, clean, and odorless requirements.
• Before entering trailers, confirm dock lock, tire chocks, and nose jack are secured.
• Seal and secure all outbound trailers; use RF scanners to post electronic inventory moves during loading.

Receiving

• Unload inbound trailers of raw materials and check for damage or visible contamination.
• Receive inventory with RF scanners; create, print, and apply labels that match material information.
• Store materials in designated locations; verify Certificates of Compliance against the PO and sample.
• Follow work instructions based on load type.

Production support

• Put away WIP and finished goods in the correct rack or storage location.
• Use RF scanners when moving material between locations.
• Ensure no finished goods remain in drop areas beyond 24 hours.
• Stock production lines with required materials; keep the print cell supplied with WIP.
• Empty the print cell discharge conveyor and place product in the correct rack position.

Other expectations

• Keep dock and warehouse free of clutter; follow 5S practices.
• Keep drive aisles clear of product.
• Follow all policies: work rules, quality, GMP, and food safety.
• Complete assigned training on schedule and maintain clear communication with the team.

What you bring

• Good math, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy and comfort with RF scanners.
• Excellent organizational ability and attention to detail.
• 2+ years of shipping/receiving experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Powered Industrial Vehicle experience required.

Education

High school diploma preferred.
