Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 05/18/2026 for a 13-week engagement, with a weekly pay range of $2,335 to $2,383 per week and 36 guaranteed hours. Shift is 2x3 Nights in a hospital-based ED setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ED for patients across the lifespan, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, continuous monitoring, and respond to emergencies; implement orders and care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitor patient responses and adverse effects
- Document all care in EPIC EMR with accurate, timely, and compliant charting; maintain patient safety and infection control standards
- Collaborate with the ED team (physicians, PAs/NPs, nursing colleagues, and support services) to optimize patient flow and disposition
- Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and links to follow-up care; participate in quality improvement activities as assigned
- Maintain readiness for high-acuity cases and support charge capabilities as needed

Requirements
- Licensure: Current New York RN license; Nursys verification of licenses with an active NY license and all RN licenses
- Certifications: AHA CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS; TNCC required to be in hand at submission
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience; pediatric experience preferred; travel experience required; EPIC EMR experience
- Local considerations: Local rate applicable for candidates within 75 miles
- Other: Drivers license with address matching demographics; ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment; RTO requests must be included at time of submission
