TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The MLT will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, analyzing specimens, and ensuring accurate results to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids.
  • Analyze and interpret test results to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments .
  • Follow quality control and safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with pathologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals .
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation .
  • Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
  • Certification: ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of hematology, microbiology, immunology, and clinical chemistry.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness to work in different locations on travel contracts.
