Job Overview
We are seeking a Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 7-week contract assignment. This role involves providing direct patient care, assisting residents with activities of daily living, and supporting nursing staff in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to promoting patient comfort, safety, and well-being while working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Measure and record vital signs as directed
Support patient mobility, transfers, and positioning safely
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Promote patient comfort, dignity, and quality of care
Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff
Job Requirements
Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (State of Pennsylvania or eligible)
Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
Must provide valid state or federal-issued identification for facility access
