Trade Support Team Lead

Chicago - Onsite - Monday - Friday - 7:00am to 5:30pm CST

About The Role:

Seeking a senior Trade Support Team Lead to support management of the Chicago trading desk, providing 1st/2nd level support for Front Office trading and market data systems. Responsibilities include user/account administration, portfolio and exchange setup, market data reporting, troubleshooting, audit support, and handling operational requests. Acts as a key liaison between clients, brokers, and internal teams for all trading support needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Provided Tier 1 and Tier 2 trade support for global trading platforms serving internal and external clients.
• Managed user access, account administration, and trading limit updates with Risk team approval.
• Assisted with system outage resolution and client trade support.
• Coordinated with Technology and business teams to communicate system changes and improvements.
• Reviewed operational workflows to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Supported rotating coverage schedules, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ensured compliance with SOX controls and regulatory requirements including SEC, FINRA, NFA, and CFTC standards.
• Followed operational risk and compliance procedures while escalating issues as needed.
• Supported institutional clients including banks, hedge funds, market makers, and trading firms.
• Maintained high standards of professionalism, integrity, and adherence to company policies and Code of Conduct.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience supporting trading platforms including Fidessa, TT, CQG, Stellar, WebICE, and CME Direct.
• Experience working with global exchanges such as CME, ICE, and Eurex.
• Knowledge of exchange connectivity across derivatives, commodities, equities, and cash markets.
• Proficient in database queries, Excel reporting, and compliance audit support.
• Experience onboarding clients for FIX and bespoke API connectivity.
• Working knowledge of FIX Messaging Protocol.
• Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced electronic trading environments.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to manage issues calmly and efficiently.
• Quick learner with a strong interest in new technologies and process improvements.
