Job Description

McCandless Truck Center - Aurora is seeking a dedicated and dependable Test Driver-Porter to join our team in Aurora, CO. This role involves driving and testing various trucks to ensure their quality and performance, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles for customer delivery. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Drive and test trucks to assess mechanical performance and safety.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Move vehicles within the facility and to various locations as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness of vehicles inside and out, ensuring they are customer-ready.
  • Assist with general lot organization and vehicle staging.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while operating vehicles.
Requirements
  • CDL required.
  • Experience driving commercial trucks preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather and road conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving equipment.
