Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native solutions. This role requires deep hands‑on expertise in Java, AWS, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and domain‑driven design , along with strong leadership and communication skills.

The Solution Architect will act as the single point of contact (SPOC) between business and IT, driving architectural decisions, guiding development teams, and ensuring delivery through Agile/Lean methodologies .

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

• Create solution architecture and high‑level design documents .
• Decompose complex solutions into domains and microservices .
• Design REST‑based microservice APIs .
• Apply Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Define architecture patterns aligned with scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct POCs to evaluate new technologies and approaches.

Technical Leadership & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture.
• Create epics, features, and stories for development teams.
• Lead and guide the implementation team during solution delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to align on roadmaps.
• Promote inner‑sourcing and reuse of architectural components .
• Ensure architectural governance and adherence to best practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the SPOC between business and IT .
• Present complex technical designs to technical and non‑technical audiences .
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver assigned business capabilities.
• Build and communicate a technology vision and strategy .

Agile & Continuous Improvement

• Lead architecture initiatives in Agile / Lean environments .
• Promote continuous improvement via feedback loops.
• Recognize industry trends and emerging technologies and drive adoption.
• Support multiple initiatives simultaneously across teams.

Required Technical Skills

Backend & Architecture

• Strong proficiency in Java and Java frameworks:
  • Spring
  • Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture & RESTful APIs
• Strong foundation in software design principles and architecture patterns
• Message broker & distributed system patterns:
  • CQRS
  • Saga
  • Outbox pattern

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Deep hands‑on experience with AWS services
• Cloud‑native and cloud‑migration solutions
• Scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization patterns

Databases & Messaging

• SQL & NoSQL databases, including:
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • SQL Server
  • Redis
  • MongoDB
• Messaging systems and event‑driven architecture

DevOps & CI/CD

• Strong understanding of:
  • DevOps workflows
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Automation and deployment strategies
• Experience working closely with DevOps teams

Soft Skills & Leadership

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with:
  • Business stakeholders
  • Technical teams
  • Senior leadership
• Proven experience leading teams in Agile environments
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, execution‑focused mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing enterprise business processes
• Experience in financial services or regulated enterprise environments (preferred)
