Job Summary The responsibilities of a Service Technician include performing diagnostics, repairs, and other routine maintenance on various vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities: * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. * Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. * Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems. * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be kept informed. * Provide estimates of time and parts, as needed, for additional repairs. * Perform repairs under warranty according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety standards. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: * Experience as a Service Technician or similar role is required. * ASE Certification preferred but not required. * Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination. * Good communication and customer service skills. * Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively. * Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications. * Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
