This Senior Coding Associate role at athenaOne focuses on evaluating customer readiness and ensuring successful adoption of the athenaOne Medical Coding Service. It requires a blend of medical coding expertise, analytical thinking, and project management to analyze documentation, design process improvements, and manage stakeholder relationships for client success.

What You'll Do

• Analyze provider documentation and customer configurations to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design automated workflow solutions and process improvements.
• Manage multiple complex projects and stakeholder relationships concurrently.
• Create and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
• Lead initiatives to enhance client and operational outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and training to new hires and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

• Deep expertise in medical coding.
• Possession of CPC/CCS Certification.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to design workflows using Lean Six Sigma or operational engineering techniques.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or SQL is a plus.
