The Communications Outreach Recruitment and Enrollment (CORE) Unit is one of the first stops along the path of that transformation. We initiate outr each to thousands of young adults across the state and then lead them through the enrollment process.

We are looking for an Analyst 1 to join our CORE team. Below is key information candidates should consider before applying.

The Analyst 1 Recruiter- Fresno will actively recruit young individuals to join at the CCC Fresno Center and statewide residential centers with a focus for recruiting and enrolling for the CCC conservation programs including wildland firefighting. This position requires using a state vehicle to travel for recruitment activities.

The Analyst 1 Recruiter- Fresno is responsible for using CoRe (Corpsmember Recruitment Salesforce system) CRM (customer relationship management) to track engagement with CCC Corpsmember applicants, analyze and assess recruitment reports for constant and timely engagement for a smooth enrollment process within the zone.

A successful Analyst 1 Recruiter- Fresno candidate has strong analytical skills, public speaking skills, and enjoys working with young adults. This position is anything but monotonous. It is fast and nimble, diverse in duties and deliverables, and makes a daily impact on the lives of young adults seeking to improve themselves and their communities.

Working Conditions

This position is classified as “Hybrid” and is currently eligible for up to three days of telework per week, with a minimum of two days of in-office work.

Duties will be performed at Fresno Center: 2526 North Grove Industrial Drive, Fresno, CA 93727.
Some travel is required for presentations and career fairs.

Eligibility Information

1. List Eligibility – Successfully complete the civil service exam for  . Please refer to the exam bulletin for the frequency of administration of this exam.
2. Transfer Eligibility – Must have current employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above).
3. Reinstatement Eligibility – Previously obtained permanent employment with the State of California in the same classification or in a classification that is comparable. If in a different classification, you must meet the minimum qualifications (see Minimum Qualifications section and associated links above.
4. Training & Development (T&D) Assignment – State employees in a permanent appointment, and no longer on probation, may be considered for a T&D assignment.
