Job Summary - As a D1 Coach, you’ll be the catalyst for every athlete’s success. You’ll foster a motivating environment, deliver high-energy workouts, and tailor programming to meet individual needs. Whether coaching group classes or personal training sessions, you’ll help athletes of all backgrounds build strength, speed, and confidence - Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
- A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
- Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
- Starting and finishing workouts on time
- Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
- Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
- Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
- Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
Responsibilities - Create a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes
- Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and teams
- Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs and goals
- Assess and align each athlete with the proper program
- Deliver expert guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teach proper form and technique to reduce injury risk
- Build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with athletes
- Support athletes of all backgrounds, including youth, adults, and female athletes
Qualifications - Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification
- Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
- Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
- Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
