Golisano Childrens Hospital of SWFL- Lee Health is seeking a Medical Director of Pediatric Primary Care!

Nestled near the stunning beaches of Southwest Florida, Golisano Childrens Hospital at Lee Health is a modern, state-of-the-art facility delivering vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only childrens hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our communitys children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital features a 36-bed medical/surgical unit, a 16-bed PICU, and a 70-bed NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage.

Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one childrens hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.

Position Information:

Lee Physician Group & Golisano Childrens Hospital is seeking a board-certified Physician to be our Medical Director of Pediatric Primary Care. This is a hybrid role with a mix of both Administrative (50%) and Clinical (50%). The role will be responsible for providing professional guidance and oversight to pediatric primary care physicians and advanced practice providers while focusing on excellence in care delivery, performance on value-based contracts, delivering an exceptional patient experience, implementation of best practices and monitoring quality metrics performance for the growing group of 30+ physicians and advanced providers providing pediatric primary care at 8-offices across the region.

Requires three (3) years clinical practice experience with a pediatric primary care background

Board-certification in a specialty or subspecialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties

Active State Medical License and the ability to obtain a Florida Medical License

EPIC Electronic Health Record
