Job Summary:

We are seeking an EV Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Current Product Vehicle Engineering team. In this role, you will support vehicles in the field, troubleshoot and resolve vehicle issues, and help deliver a world-class customer experience. You will also contribute to the design and development of motorcycle mechanical systems and components that deliver industry-leading performance and rider experience. This position offers a hybrid work environment with access to our world-class product development facilities.

This is what you will do:

  • Work on every part of the motorcycle, the Current Product team has full vehicle responsibility
  • Identify and address opportunities for full vehicle technical continuous improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis on field concerns using analytical engineering problem solving tools
  • Deliver significant influence on our warranty performance
  • Provide direct engineering support for continuity of production (Manufacturing plant support)
  • Specify, develop, and deliver fully engineered systems from concept to production
  • Hands on product testing and evaluating vehicle systems and assemblies
  • Influence, mentor, and inspire teammates while demonstrating effective cross-functional collaboration to deliver world class designs

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant related technical discipline.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for problem solving with strong technical communication skills and the ability to collaborate with local and remote teams.
  • Broad expertise in relevant topics: development of mechanical systems and component design, system and component validation, and vehicle and system functional testing.
  • Strong competency with 3D CAD tools,2D Drawings, GD&T and managing design change processes.
  • Hands-on bench and vehicle testing experience preferred.

Pay Range: $74,900 - $112,200

The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
