Maintenance Scheduler / Dispatcher (Remote)

Remote (must be available during Eastern Time business hours)

•  Entry-level candidate: $1,500 - $1,800 per month.

•  Strong/ experienced candidate: $2,200 up to $2,500.
   

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Scheduler / Dispatcher to coordinate repair and maintenance activities across our portfolio of properties. This role serves as the communication hub between our maintenance team, vendors, and internal departments, ensuring work orders are scheduled, tracked, and completed efficiently.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, an excellent communicator, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in construction, property maintenance, or working with trades and vendors is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch maintenance technicians and third-party vendors.

• Coordinate repair appointments, follow up on open work orders, and ensure timely completion.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, team members, and internal stakeholders.

• Monitor work order progress and proactively address scheduling conflicts or delays.

• Maintain accurate records, notes, and status updates within company systems.

• Prioritize urgent issues and make real-time scheduling adjustments as needed.

• Track vendor responsiveness, availability, and performance.

• Support maintenance managers with administrative and operational coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

• Available to work Eastern Time business hours.

• Proficient with computers, scheduling software (i.e. Breezeway), and communication tools.

• Experience in maintenance, construction, property management, or dispatching is preferred.

• Understanding of construction trades, repair processes, and working with vendors is a strong asset.
