Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Junior Project Manager for a growing mechanical construction organization supporting Design Build and Plan Spec projects. This role is primarily onsite in Anchorage Alaska.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The JR Project Manager supports the successful execution of mechanical construction projects from inception through closeout. This role plays a key part in maintaining project documentation, coordinating with estimating and field teams, and ensuring accurate, timely project communication. Project Engineers are highly organized, detail-oriented professionals who represent the organization with professionalism across job sites, offices, and client interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain project records throughout all phases of construction
• Assemble, track, and distribute submittals, O&Ms, RFIs, change orders, ASIs, and drawing logs
• Monitor daily reports and follow up to ensure RFIs are priced and responded to in a timely manner
• Support estimating efforts by counting fixtures, obtaining subcontractor and supplier quotes, and assisting with bid preparation
• Maintain and update drawings, incorporating changes and distributing accurate information to field teams
• Support multiple concurrent projects while coordinating with estimators, project managers, and field staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated sense of ownership and responsibility for assigned projects
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Familiarity with construction and project documentation software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or Bluebeam is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a salary range of $65,000–$80,000 DOE , along with employer-provided equipment and standard construction industry benefits. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.
