GoLang Lead Engineer

We are looking for a GoLang Lead Engineer to design and build highly scalable, reliable backend systems supporting payments and reconciliation workflows . This role involves leading technical architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving best practices across distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of high-performance backend systems using GoLang
• Own end-to-end delivery of critical services in payments and reconciliation domains
• Define coding standards, design principles, and best practices
• Conduct design reviews and ensure system scalability and resilience
• Design and optimize MySQL schemas and queries
• Design distributed, fault-tolerant microservices
• Build systems for: Payment processing pipelines, Reconciliation workflows, Settlement and ledger management
• Experience in Payments systems / FinTech / E-commerce / Reconciliation / financial systems
• Experience with: RESTful APIs, gRPC, Microservices architecture

• 8+ years in backend engineering
• Strong expertise in GoLang
• Deep understanding of:
  • Concurrency, Goroutines, Channels
  • Memory management
• Expertise in MySQL
  • Query optimization
  • Indexing strategies
  • Transaction handling

• Experience with reconciliation tools/platforms
• Exposure to data engineering workflows (ETL pipelines)
• Knowledge of Python / scripting for automation
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau)
• Hands-on AWS experience : RDS, S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, ECS/EKS
