Job Title: Staff Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting for small private businesses, primarily in the services industry such as hairdressers, attorneys, and small construction companies. While the primary focus will be on day-to-day accounting tasks, this position is perfect for someone looking to grow and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations for small business clients.
Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet management.
Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and reporting.
Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with QuickBooks.
Basic understanding of bookkeeping.
Previous exposure through internship or accounting experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with QuickBooks Live.
Experience in an accounting firm or CPA firm.
Knowledge of certified payroll and tax.
Work Environment
This role requires working in the office from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and establish a career in accounting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
