Job Description
The Document Control Assistant is responsible for administering and maintaining the processes and practices that support strict documentation compliance and accuracy. Working closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams, this role ensures that all electronic and paper-based data adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and regulatory standards within a fast-paced pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. 6 Month contract with the possibility of being extended

Responsibilities
- Process Management: Manage, issue, and track document control processes through electronic document management systems (EDMS) and paper-based systems.
- Distribution & Issuance: Distribute approved controlled documentation—including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), packaging batch records, methods, and protocols—to the appropriate plant personnel.
- Database Maintenance: Perform precise data entry and maintain department databases (such as Access or specialized pharmaceutical software) to track document approvals and revisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with manufacturing, QA, and laboratory departments to resolve documentation issues or navigate change control requirements.
- Audit Readiness: Prepare, organize, and retrieve archived version documents (logbooks, laboratory notebooks, certificates of analysis) for internal audits and regulatory agency inspections.
- Logbook Management: Issue, track, and archive official manufacturing and laboratory logbooks, ensuring online and physical copies remain accurate.
