Project Manager Ignition Systems Integrator

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of industrial automation projects centered around the Ignition platform by Inductive Automation . This role is ideal for someone experienced in managing system integration projects involving SCADA, HMI, MES, and IIoT solutions across manufacturing and industrial environments.

You will serve as the bridge between clients, engineering teams, and stakeholders-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business and technical objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle delivery of Ignition-based system integration projects
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
• Serve as the primary client-facing contact throughout project execution
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including controls engineers, software developers, and system integrators
• Oversee system design, development, testing, deployment, and commissioning
• Ensure successful implementation of SCADA, MES, and IIoT solutions using Ignition
• Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies
• Track and report on project progress, milestones, and performance metrics
• Facilitate client meetings, status updates, and executive reporting
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and execution processes

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within industrial automation or system integration
• Hands-on experience with Ignition by Inductive Automation
• Strong understanding of SCADA, HMI, PLCs, and industrial control systems
• Experience managing projects in manufacturing, energy, or industrial environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent
• Experience with MES systems and IIoT architectures
• Familiarity with cloud integrations (AWS, Azure) in industrial environments
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols ( OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP )
• Background working for or with Ignition Certified Integrators
