Job Description and Duties

This position reports directly to a Supervising Bridge Engineer in Division of Engineering Services (DES) / Structure Construction (SC). The incumbent is responsible for and manages a staff of engineering employees on multiple structure projects while managing field staff on smaller structure projects. This position is located in Colton.

For journeyman level, possession and maintenance of a valid professional engineer's license in the State of California is also required .

If you meet MQs under Pattern II and require the TE Civil in-person written hurdle exam, DO NOT TAKE the TE Civil online exam prior to passing the written hurdle.     4. Demonstrate your ability to negotiate and communicate effectively, both orally and inwriting (e.g., writing technical reports, group presentations, and public forums).

    5. Describe your knowledge and experience in bridge construction methods and engineering, bridge rehabilitation and maintenance techniques, structural analysis, project development process, procedures, and philosophies.
