Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Bartender/Server to join our team at the Parcelle Wine Bar. As a Bartender/Server, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional beverage experience to our esteemed guests, showcasing your expertise in spirits, cocktails and wine. 

• Bar setup and Breakdown: Sets up the bar quickly, efficiently, and neatly. Is able to multitask and prioritize in a logical and guest oriented manner.
• Cocktails and Round Building: Have a thorough knowledge of classic and modern classic cocktails. Understand how to build and balance a cocktail and a cocktail menu. Thorough understanding of effective Round Building.
• Presentation and Standards: Ensures that cocktails are consistent (washlines are accurate and garnish is fresh and clean)
• Wine Service: Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of our extensive wine list, including regions, vintages, and grape varieties. Assist guests in selecting wines that complement their preferences and meals. Effectively describe wine attributes and flavors to enhance the guest's understanding and enjoyment.
• Food Pairing: Offer expert advice on food and wine pairings to create memorable dining experiences for our patrons. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination between food preparation and wine service.
• Upscale Customer Service: Provide impeccable and personalized customer service to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests. Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, ensuring a memorable and delightful visit.
• Order Taking: Take accurate and detailed food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen staff promptly.
• Bar Maintenance: Ensure that the bar is impeccably set, clean, and organized. Continuously monitor and maintain the bar area, ensuring it remains clean, tidy, and aesthetically pleasing. Adheres to DOH standards.
• Sales and Promotion: Promote and upsell wine selections, special offers, and events to enhance the guests' overall experience and contribute to the wine bar's revenue goals.
