JP Harvey Chevrolet is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk to join our growing dealership team immediately.
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who understands dealership paperwork, title processing, vehicle registration, DMV requirements, dealer trades, funding procedures, and compliance.
This position is ideal for an experienced Title Clerk, Office Administrator, Billing Clerk, or Deal Processor looking for long-term stability and career growth with a respected dealership.
COMPENSATION
$40,000 - $70,000+ Per Year
Compensation will be based on experience, knowledge, and overall qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations
Prepare and submit title applications to state agencies
Verify all paperwork for accuracy and completeness
Process trade payoffs and lien releases
Handle dealer trades and Certificates of Origin
Maintain title schedules and outstanding title reports
Process vehicle warranties and service contracts
Post vehicle sales and purchases
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
Assist with dealer tag renewals
Work closely with accounting, sales, finance, and management teams
Maintain accurate dealership records and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous automotive dealership experience preferred
Automotive title clerk experience highly preferred
Knowledge of DMV and title regulations
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong computer and data entry skills
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
