Position: Accounting Clerk
Job Type: (Remote)
Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This is a full-time position with regular business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Process and record accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Monitor and track expenses and payments
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Support other accounting and finance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
